2. Program Summary:

The Diploma in Digital Banking and Finance aims to provide students with the key knowledge and understanding of Digital Banking and Finance concepts preparing students mainly in the mobile and online banking and finance sector. In today’s world of convenience and speed, consumers especially the millennials and order Gen Z, has migrated to the digital transactions instead of the physical bank.

Candidature Period:

This diploma has a 12 month candidature from the course end date stated on student contract.

 

3. Entry Requirements:

Academic Requirements:

• C6 in any 3 ‘O’ level subjects or

• Completed Certificate studies from ACE in any disciples or

• Mature learners (at least 21) with 2 years work experiences or

• Other professional qualifications, foreign or private diploma will be assessed on a case-to-case-basis or

• Pass ACE English Placement Test or

• Equivalent or above

Age Requirement:

Minimum age: 16

English Requirements:

• Scored C6 or above in GCE O-level English, or

• ACE English Placement Test or

• IELTS 5.5, or

• Its equivalent

 

4. Total Course Duration/Instruction Hours:

• Full Time: Theory study, 12 Months/405 hours, 5 sessions per week x 3 hours

• Part Time: Theory study, 18 Months/405 hours, 3 sessions per week x 3 hours

 

5. Mode of Delivery and Intake:

Delivery    : Lectures and Tutorials (Blended)

Intake      : Mar, May, Jul, Sep and Nov of each year

• Pass all core modules, and

• Pass Internship Module (or being replaced by a Final Project with an approval)

• 25% Mid-Term Examination

• 30% Final Examination
