The Head of Academic and Head of Operations or its designated staff are collectively responsible to conduct the Student Orientation for all new students.
The orientation shall cover, but is not limited to, the following:
- Essential course information such as course duration, class period, classroom, assessments, graduation requirements and others.
- Student Support Services provided by the school.
- Reiterate that Student Pass Holders are not permitted to engage in any form of employment or attend an Industrial Attachment, whether paid or unpaid, without a valid work pass issued by Ministry of Manpower.
- Relevant information of the SSG and Singapore laws pertaining to smoking, littering, gambling, drugs consumption and handling and others.
- Important details in the Student Handbook like attendance requirements for both Student Pass and Non-Student Pass Holders, Student’s Behaviours…etc.

The students shall fill up the online survey http://ace.edu.sg/online/orientation-survey upon the completion of the orientation. The students could give feedback on the Orientation session to enhance the activities.
