Program Overview

The Foundation Diploma in Higher Learning is designed to prepare students for diploma-level studies by building essential academic knowledge, study skills, and confidence. The programme introduces learners to academic communication, critical thinking, learning strategies, basic research skills, and general subject knowledge relevant to further education. It supports students in understanding academic materials, completing assignments, participating in discussions, and adapting to a higher learning environment. This programme is suitable for students who need a bridging pathway before progressing to higher-level studies. Upon completion, students may progress to further studies, subject to the admission requirements of the receiving programme or institution.

Candidature Period

This diploma has a 12 month candidature from the course end date stated on student contract.

Entry Requirements

We seek candidates with a strong academic foundation and the professional drive to succeed in a demanding graduate environment.

Academic Qualifications

Completed minimum 10-year education, Grade 10 or equivalent, or Pass in at least 1 GCE O Level subject, or 3 years working experience

English Proficiency

Pass at O Level English, or Minimum 3 years study in an English medium course, or Completed and passed ACE’s English Language Proficiency test

Age Requirement

Minimum age: 16

Graduation Requirement
