Disciplinary Policy
This policy governs student behaviour and outlines procedures for managing conduct-related issues.
Disciplinary matters are categorized based on severity and type, including academic dishonesty, harassment, disruption, and other misconduct.
ACE communicates this policy during orientation and makes it available via the website and student handbook.
All students must familiarize themselves with and adhere to ACE’s conduct policies. Students are expected to behave respectfully and supportively within the learning environment. ACE maintains a zero-tolerance stance on misconduct.
For a student with psychological issues, refer the student to the external trained counsellor / agency for pastoral counselling.
Disciplinary Actions
– Actions are determined based on the seriousness of the infraction.
– May include verbal/written warnings, counselling, suspension, or dismissal.
– Cheating or attempted cheating is considered a serious breach and may result in immediate failure or dismissal.
Counselling and Documentation
– The Head of Operations or designated staff conducts face-to-face counselling sessions using the Counselling Session Report Form.
– All intervention actions and outcomes are recorded.
Disciplinary Committee Role
– Members of the Student Disciplinary Committee are authorized to take disciplinary actions.
– Staff or lecturers who observe misconduct must report it for appropriate action.
Escalation and Case Closure
– Outcomes are reported to the Management Team.
– Cases eligible for dismissal are reviewed and closed accordingly.
