2. Program Summary:

This  program is designed to provide students a better understanding of the existing technology innovations and provides further enhancement towards productivity and minimize risk of processing errors during workplace activities. In addition, students will be able to demonstrate the current practices in the supply chain management workplace with competency at a supervisory level. Other highlights of the course is the Research project where students will be able to apply what they have learned and write a report based on the current best practices in logistic and supply chain management.

Candidature Period: 

This diploma has a 12 month candidature from the course end date stated on student contract.

 

3. Entry Requirements:
Academic Requirements:

• ACE Diploma, or

• Mature Candidates (21 years or older with 2 years of work experience)

• Scored C6 or above in any three GCE N level subjects, or

• Other profession, private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-to-case basis.

Age Requirement: 

• Minimum age: 16

English Requirements:

• Score a C6 at GCE N level English, or

• ACE English Placement Test

• IELTS 5.0, or

• Its Equivalent

 

4. Total Course Duration/Instruction Hours:
• Full Time: 12 Months/405 hours, 5 sessions per week x 3 hours; On-the-job training (OJT), 6 months
• Part Time: 18 Months/405 hours, 3 sessions per week x 3 hours

 

5. Mode of Delivery and Intake:
• Delivery: Lectures and Tutorials (Face to face / Online)
• Intake: Mar, May, Jul, Sep and Nov of each year *Note: The course intake months might be adjusted.

8. Graduation Requirement

• For ‘A’ level or 12 years students. Pass 3 core modules and 3 non core modules, or

• For ‘O’ level or 10 years students. Pass 4 core modules and 4 non core module, and

• Pass Internship Module (or being replaced by a Final Project with an approval)

 

9. Assessment Methods:

• 45% Assignment (Homework, Quizzes, Group work & etc)
• 25% Mid-Term Examination
• 30% Final Examination
