ACE student service officer conducts 'Orientation' for all new students
within 7 working days after the student starts a course. The orientation shall
cover, but is not limited to, the following:
a. Essential course information such as course duration, class period, classroom, assessments and others;
b. Student support services provided by the school;
c. Reiterate that students holding Student Pass are not permitted to engage in any form of employment or attend an Industrial Attachment, whether paid or unpaid, without a valid work pass issued by Ministry of Manpower;
d. Other relevant Singapore laws pertaining to smoking, littering, gambling, drugs consumption and handling and others;
e. Important details in the student handbook.
The officer and students shall sign the Orientation Checklist and Survey on Experience with Agents/ACE Consultants upon the completion of the orientation.
The officer shall document the date and/or status of the students throughout the Selection and Admission Process into the tracking log.
